Hommage à Jacques Perrin
Jacques Perrin is a Swiss wine taster, writer, critic and merchant. He was ranked second best wine taster worldwide. His consistency earned him this rank. It is not his skills as a taster that made me dedicate this wine to him. I pay tribute to his relentless quest for excellence in Swiss wines. Jacques is one of a very few big merchants who highlight the excellence of Swiss wines, accepting thereby a loss in revenues as margins on foreign wines are higher. Jacques continuously underscores the quality of the Swiss wines which deserve it, remaining, however, uncompromising in his appraisal.
